Our school leadership team

Our team are what makes the difference at Christ Church Grammar School.  They are professional and caring and committed to preparing each student for their future.

Neil Andary | Principal

Neil Andary is not your typical school principal. The first 20 years of his working life were spent running a family business in Adelaide.  Neil then followed his passion for teaching, and spent 16 years at Prince Alfred College, Adelaide, where he was deputy headmaster and acting headmaster before taking up the role of Principal at Christ Church Grammar School.

"I enjoy having the opportunity to make a difference to young children’s lives. I love watching them grow and develop and seeing them become confident, competent and compassionate people. It’s a fascinating journey."

Keith Newman | Deputy Principal

Keith is responsible for school operations, including curriculum.

“I’m committed to bringing big school opportunities to a primary school environment. We run an electives program which is like a secondary school program.  We give our students a broad range of opportunities and a really good skill set before they start secondary school.”

Jane Eddy | Head of Early Years

Jane is responsible to all the students from 3-year-old kindergarten to Year One.  She manages the team in the Early Learning Centre, the Prep to Year 1 teachers and the teachers’ aides.

“When the children are happy and settled, when they feel known and cared for by their teachers, they are ready to try tricky things and have a go.  That’s the beauty of a really intimate environment.”

Sharon Seeto | Director of Early Learning Centre

Sharon is the pedagogical leader for the Early Learning Centre.  She works closely with families and teachers.

“I’m often the first point of call for families.  We really value that connection, and that we know the children really well.  All of our ELC teachers know all the children by name.”

Fay Samaras | Head of Human Resources

Fay is responsible for everything to do with employees, from recruitment to learning and development.

“It’s a challenging role, in a very positive way, because I wear so many hats.  It’s all purposeful, and it’s rewarding knowing that I have a positive impact.”

Prue Ottey | Registrar

Prue is responsible for enrolling families at Christ Church Grammar School.

“The best part of my role is helping families. I meet every family that joins our community. Every family is different, and I enjoy getting to know them all.”
