Christ Church Grammar School is seeking to appoint an outstanding STEM Teacher / Academic Leader, Numeracy following the existing incumbent securing an exciting position as Head of Learning and Teaching at a prestigious independent school. This full-time continuing role will be available from Term 3, 2022.

The Position

STEM Teacher/Academic Leader Numeracy

We are seeking to appoint an innovative teacher with experience and qualifications to involve student learning across Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. Working closely with the School’s Deputy Principal and Head of Early Years along with Academic Leaders of Literacy and Creativity & Innovation, the successful incumbent will contribute to the overall vision and planning of the educational curriculum and implement hands-on and creative activities for students Prep – Year 6.

This position will be influential is supporting the school’s staff and students’ growth and development and is well suited for candidates with an entrepreneurial spirit and creative approach to explicit teaching and experiential learning. Strong classroom management, communication, teamwork, and presentation skills are required.

The ideal candidates will be visibly passionate about teaching, with a distinct affection for children and their educational development.  This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a top tier school.
