Christ Church Grammar School is a leading inner city, independent, Anglican, co-educational primary school that provides an outstanding education for children from Year 3 to Year 6.
We are seeking expressions of interest for the following positions, both to commence as soon as possible.
Position 1. A Suzuki violin teacher
This role is for a Suzuki teacher with experience working with young children. The position includes individual lessons and periodic group classes within our Early Learning Centre. Currently the role entails approximately 4 hours of teaching, with a view to expand. We are seeking a passionate teacher with the ability to communicate and connect with both parents and young children and a love for the Suzuki approach to teaching violin.
Position 2. Violin teacher
This role is for an enthusiastic teacher with the ability to engage and inspire students on the violin and viola. The role includes working in a team to run a Year 2 String Program on Friday mornings. The applicant will demonstrate a good understanding of violin/viola teaching in the primary years and the ability to work within a dynamic, collaborative team.
The successful applicants will be enthusiastic and passionate about teaching, with good communication skills and the ability to connect and engage with young children. The applicant will be committed to working co-operatively with other music staff, and to focusing on delivering excellence in our music curriculum, teaching, learning and reporting.
