Christ Church Grammar School, one of Victoria’s leading independent Primary Schools, seeks to appoint an outstanding Principal to lead their highly regarded ELC - Year 6 stand-alone Primary School. 

The appointee will succeed Mr Neil Andary who will retire at the end of 2024 following a highly successful five-year tenure. 

Reporting directly to the School Board, the Principal will provide strategic and visionary leadership to create a safe, stimulating and inspiring environment whilst promoting this unique school’s vision and values. Christ Church Grammar School welcomes families, not just students. The Principal will ensure the effective and efficient operation of the School’s innovative and contemporary primary education programmes. 

The successful appointee will be an outstanding educational leader with extensive experience operating within a strategic and high achieving environment.  The appointee will possess an empathetic and resilient leadership style, coupled with high emotional intelligence and a strong understanding of how to manage staff and student needs along with those of the broader Christ Church Grammar School community. The incumbent will possess well developed commercial skills and be an extraordinary stakeholder relationship manager, able to successfully navigate the unique affiliations enjoyed with pre-eminent secondary schools and the broader school community.

Presenting with strong governance and pedagogy credentials, the successful candidate will be passionately committed to Early Years and Primary Education. CCGS is a strong and flourishing community, and the incoming Principal will display a genuine desire to lead, collaborate with, and actively contribute to this community.
