Christ Church Grammar School has partnerships with various community organisations and causes.

Olivia Newton John Foundation

In our continued partnership with the Olivia Newton-John Foundation, CCGS is proud to participate in Olivia’s Walk for Wellness every October.

Dame Olivia Newton-John, a CCGS alumna, founded the ONJ Foundation Fund, an independent charity dedicated to advancing global research on plant-based medicine for cancer treatment. All funds raised go toward wellness programs designed to reduce the side effects of cancer therapies and help those with cancer thrive.

This year, we’re excited to host a special ONJ Wellness Walk at Fawkner Park on Tuesday, 22nd October!

In collaboration with the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Wellness & Research Centre and Austin Health, this event celebrates Olivia’s legacy while fundraising for her beloved Centre. The 2024 theme is “Let’s Get Physical,” and we’re transforming our regular Tuesday morning walk into a fun, 80s-themed, Olivia Newton-John-inspired celebration. Expect music, rollerblades, sweatbands, legwarmers, and plenty of energy as we come together to support this meaningful cause.

2/14th Australian Field Regiment

In 2007 CCGS formed a partnership with the 2/14th Australian Field Regiment through the Adopt An Ex-Service Organisation Program, administered by the Shrine of Remembrance.

Each year our students have opportunities to experience the traditions surrounding commemoration and remembrance, to reflect upon the importance of peace, to develop historical knowledge and understanding, and to form relationships with our veterans and their families.
